TECHNICAL LEAD (Automotive MCU)

The technical leader in the automotive MCU team will lead the team and groom individuals to build a high performing team. The individual will have tremendous learning opportunities into new domains in Classic AUTOSAR and will be opportunities to work with automotive MCU consortium for high performing individuals.

What you’ll do

  • Your role will include the ability to grow, lead a team of dedicated engineers aiming at adapting our products to automotive and industrial specific requirements.
  • In this role, together with other team members, you will conceive and design future architecture and software of ECUs, their mapping to heterogeneous multi-core SoCs and the seamless integration of ECUs into future vehicle architecture.
  • You will create modern and flexible software design for complex microcontroller (mC) & System on Chip (SoC) ECUs with AUTOSAR Classic, AUTOSAR Adaptive and other technologies.
  • You will contribute to ECU design decisions across different feature verticals to ensure robust ECU software development & delivery.
  • You will understand AUTOSAR requirements, ECU specific features and derive SW Architecture.
  • You will search for complex fault patterns, together with team members, using test bench and in-car testing, and integrate lessons learned into future concepts.
  • You will have opportunities to solve complex cross-functional technical problems.

What you’ll need.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive, Electrical, Communication or Computer Engineering
  • 5+ years professional experience with Automotive/ Autonomous Driving System or Software Development
  • Hands on experience in AUTOSAR stack integration, preferably Vector’s.
  • Strong experience in various communication protocols – Ethernet, CAN, LIN and FlexRay.
  • Good working experience in various microcontrollers.
  • Strong embedded C/C++ (ver.17) programming & debugging skills.
  • Experience in developing and deploying custom APIs and SDKs (abstraction layers).
  • Experience in embedded operating systems (POSIX and OSEK).
  • Experience with time/data triggered frameworks for robotic / automotive applications (e.g. ROS2)
  • Thorough understanding of automotive functional safety and security.

Nice to Have’s

  • Model based development skills using SysML and/or UML (ideally using Enterprise Architect)
  • Experience in the development of embedded systems in POSIX-based OS, QNX or Classical AUTOSAR
  • Knowledge of development processes (e.g ASPICE, version management, change management, reviews)
  • Awareness of AD industry trends, technologies, competitive products, best practices (HW/SW)
  • Experience in SOTIF analysis of Autonomous driving projects in System and/or SW level.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in developing SW applications using Adaptive/Classic AUTOSAR
  • Experience with Agile software engineering methodology
