Business Development Intern (Unpaid)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Business Development Intern to join our team. This unpaid internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales and business development, supporting the team in expanding our client base and driving strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a keen interest in learning and contributing to a dynamic work environment.

What you will do

– Sales Support: Assist the sales team with activities such as market research, identifying new leads, and preparing sales presentations and materials.
– Client Outreach: Research and engage potential clients in target markets, supporting outreach efforts to drive business opportunities.
– Pipeline Management: Help build and maintain a sales pipeline, tracking key metrics and reporting progress to the Sales Manager.
– Customer Relationship Management: Support in fostering strong relationships with current and prospective clients to ensure satisfaction and identify new opportunities.
– Market Analysis: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and market needs, providing insights to guide business strategies.
– Reporting: Prepare regular updates and reports on outreach efforts, lead generation status, and industry developments

What you’ll need

We are looking for driven individuals who:
– Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
– Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Mandarin or another language is a plus.
– Proactive Mindset: A self-starter who can work independently, take initiative, and contribute to a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
– Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.
– Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills to engage effectively with clients and team members.
– Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and a willingness to learn CRM tools.
