The Senior Embedded Engineer in the Classic AUTOSAR team will primarily focus on developing automotive embedded software, particularly the AUTOSAR Basic Software. This role offers significant learning opportunities in various areas of Classic AUTOSAR and allows for the potential to collaborate with the AUTOSAR consortium for high-performing individuals.

• Integrate and configure the AUTOSAR stack (e.g., Vector) while contributing to ECU design decisions across various feature verticals to ensure robust ECU software development and delivery.
• Derive code templates from architecture using tools such as DaVinci and EB Tresos.
• Conceive and design future architectures and software for ECUs, mapping them to heterogeneous multi-core SoCs, and ensuring seamless integration of ECUs into future vehicle architectures.
• Create modern and flexible software designs for complex microcontrollers (MCUs) and System on Chips (SoCs) using AUTOSAR Classic and other technologies.
• Test AUTOSAR configurations in Software-in-the-Loop (SiL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL), on the bench, and in vehicles.
• Support the porting of existing C++/ROS applications to embedded C.
• Implement the ported ROS applications into the AUTOSAR Classic stack.

• Bachelor’s degree in Automotive, Electrical, Communication, or Computer Engineering.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in Automotive or Autonomous Driving Systems and Software Development.
• Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR stack integration, preferably with Vector’s tools.
• Strong expertise in various communication protocols, including Ethernet, CAN.
• Good working knowledge of different microcontrollers.
• Strong programming and debugging skills in embedded C or C++.
• Comprehensive understanding of automotive functional safety and security.

Nice to Have’s

• Experience in AUTOSAR Adaptive, Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), and Signal to Service concepts.
• Proficient in System-on-Chip (SoC) architecture and low-level software components for SoCs, such as Inter-Process Communication (IPC), synchronization, and lifecycle management.
