VinAI is looking for Computer Vision Research Engineers who are talented software engineers capable of working on research projects and/or translating research ideas into building computer vision systems. Computer Vision research engineers are expected to be able to reimplement and develop sophisticated computer vision and machine learning algorithms and systems.

• We are looking for both senior level who can conduct research independently and junior level who
  can help implement research results.
• Work on a variety of applied and research computer vision projects across the board
• Work closely with computer vision research scientists on cutting-edge computer vision algorithms
• Read research papers, reimplement existing algorithms, innovate the algorithms for tasks such as:
• Activity recognition using image, video, and wearable sensor data
• Scene text detection and recognition
• Object detection, image classification, semantic segmentation
• Image and video enhancement
• Point-cloud classification and segmentation
• Contribute to the development of prototypes and products
• Collect data, run experiments, and assist research scientists in writing and submitting research
  papers to top- tier conferences. Be co-author of research papers.

• Bachelor degree or above, major in Computer Science, Mathematics or related field. MS and PhD
  degrees in machine learning and computer vision are highly preferred.
• Familiar with OpenCV and basic computer vision techniques
• Familiar with CNNs, deep learning basics, and deep learning libraries such as PyTorch
• Familiar with inference engines such as TensorRT, SNPE, ONNX…
• Senior-level applicants should demonstrate leadership as evidenced by high-quality publications,
  and a track record for innovations.
